Barnes-Kasson Hospital and Health Centers accept a wide range of
insurances:
* Medicare****
* Medical Assistance
* U.S. Healthcare
* Blue Cross/Blue Shield
* First Priority Health
* Family Care Network
* Geisinger Health Plans
* HMO of Central New York (HMO-CNY)
We will also bill for all commercial and other insurance companies.
If your Insurance Company, HMO or Managed Care Organization is not
listed above, call us. The list changes frequently and is updated on
a regular basis.
We never refuse services to anyone based on ability to pay. We offer
a wide range of programs which we encourage you to use:
Sliding Fee Schedule: - is a reduction of fees based on family size
and income. We use income guidelines established by the Federal
Government and updated every year to determine the amount of
reduction to which you may be entitled. The application process is
simple and quick, and, once a discount rate has been established, it
is applied to all physician fees in the Health Center Offices.
Presumptive Eligibility: we can determine your eligibility for
medical assistance coverage if you are pregnant and/or have small
children.
If you have any questions on the above programs, please discuss your
concerns with your health care provider, nurse or receptionist.
